Radisson Blu Es, Rome
What’s so great about this pool?
When in Rome, do you want lay on an exquisite lounger and dip into a velvety, refreshing swimming pool? We thought you might. This delicious pool, high above most Roman rooftops, is exquisite. Many people stay here at the Radisson Blu Es purely for the pool – which is totally understandable.
So the swimming pool’s fab, now what’s the hotel like?
The Radisson Blu Es is a modern, clean, breath of fresh air – it’s one of the best hotels with a swimming pool in Rome and it’s in a perfect position. Situated near Termini Station you can walk to the Colosseum from here and most of the main attractions are only a short metro ride away. The breakfast is amazing – a huge buffet with lots of fresh and wonderful foods to choose from. The staff are extremely helpful. And there’s a great spa, should you wish to indulge in a treatment or two.
What else is there to do?
All that Rome has to offer is at your feet – the Vatican, the Pantheon, the Forum, trendy Trastavere, the Trevi Fountain (and oh-so-many-more beautiful Roman fountains), stunning Piazza Navona, the beautiful Borghese Gardens, the incredible Castel Sant’Angelo (which features in the famous Puccini opera, Tosca) and a host of museums and churches. The synagogue in Rome is also well worth a look – it boasts the only square dome in the city to differentiate it from Christian places of worship.
- The views from this beautiful swimming pool area are phenomenal – you can see the Eternal City, the Grand Termini Station (which is incredible viewed from on high) and more of this amazing city.
- There are some gorgeous, squishy, sofa-style loungers which it is very hard not to fall asleep on.
- The bar by the rooftop pool serves great cocktails and food to help sustain you if you should make the drastic decision not to sightsee but to lie here all day.
- There are regular live jazz evenings by the pool.
